Macy's Bridal in Macy's Herald Square
I went for my 2nd fitting today. I thought it would be my last fitting but it wasn't.
I am prefacing this by saying the Macy's Bridal Salon only opened up this January so they are still new and ironing out the kinks, so to speak. And they are super super nice too. The manager let me off the hook about the balance of my first dress that I ended up hating, so I can't say they didn't do great things for me.
With that said, I don't think my dress was altered at all. Maybe the hem a bit? They forgot to put in the extra slip/crinoline that I asked for the first fitting, they didn't seem to fix the top either. But I can't tell for sure. And the bustle either wasn't done right or not done at all.
I am not thrilled but I'm not angry either. I planned on keeping the dress there until this coming Friday anyway so now I just have to try it on again. I just hate lugging the shoes, bra and panties there.
So girls, please bear in mind that they are a new shop and while they are really nice there (Raymond is a total sweetie), make your fittings early after the dress comes in in case they don't do everything in one shot.
