Re: MACY'S BRIDAL - MANHASSET
my girls got their BM dresses there, I don't remember the exact amount, but it was pretty expensive. Instead they all took their dresses and had them fitted elsewhere

Ugh. Please be careful. i just picked up my dress yesterday and they whacked me for every little adjustment, I had over $500 worth of changes to the dress. I'm disgusted right now, I was so angry and asked them, is there a cap? NOPE, no cap. I bought a $3,000 dress and everytime I go there, I'm dropping 75 bucks for this, 25 for that, 50 for this. I'm so annoyed. I just had to log on to let you know.

I got my dress from Macy's Bridal in Menlo. We never even asked about alterations. I hope it's not crazy.

macy's bridal in manhasset- i would never go there again.
the service was awful and they do not give much attention.
plus they charged me 75 dollars for a hem and to take in the side of my dress an inch.

I went to Macy's Bridal in Manhasset to look at dresses with my gf and picked a dress out. I wanted to bring my mom back before I made my decision. The women at this place were so unhelpful and unpleasant I vowed not to go there and purchase my dress from that place. I live in Farmingdale and ordered my dress out in Lake Grove just so I would not have to deal with their horrible customer service. Their personaliites $ucked there.

I was not happy with this place either. I don't recall the price of my alterations but I know that the manager was annoyed when she saw all I needed was the hem done. She asked someone to go and look up my measurements. I am sure that if the salespeople had remembered I was there they would have been in with me and the seamstress and telling her to do more to my dress to drive up the cost.

I think they stink! They have no samples either and give no help--JMO
They are expensive too.
Good Luck!

I was told 'I had to go there' by tow of FI's friends wifes--IT was the worst place I went to. They could have cared less and then were so pushy. I did find a dress i liked but it was very expensive. I called Phyllis and she could have gotten it much cheaper. I ended up going with a totally different dress anyway :)

Wow! I cant beleive all the negative feedback. I didnt have a poor shopping experience, actually the woman who helped me couldnt have been any sweeter (I wish I could remember her name. I have a thank you card from her somewhere).
I have a feeling they are gonna kill me with alteration pricing because I too dont have much that needs to be done. I guess I'll have to wait to see what happens. Oh Joy

I had nothing but good experiences so far there also. Everyone I dealt with was great and very helpful.
