My sister in law got her dress there, and she fell in love with it and them. Her wedding is since past, but she would def. recommend them.

I haven't used macy's bridal salon, but to be honest I've heard very mixed things about them. I'd check out RK Bridal - thy have a ton of Bill Levkoff dresses at great prices. They've been great to work work with - I got my wedding gown there and plan on getting my bm dresses from them as well. Plus they'll beat any legitimate competitors price by 5%!

I used Macy's Bridal Salon in Lake Grove for my gown and my bridesmaids got their gowns at Macy's Bridal in Herald Square. I had only positive issues at both places. Everyone was so helpful and nice. The alterations on everyones dresses were perfect.

I got my BM's dresses at Macy's in the Smithaven Mall. I had NO problems with them and their sales help were always great.

Only my MOH had her dressed hemmed there. That wasn't expensive, but I heard that their alterations can get pricey.

I got my dress and BM Dresses from the one in Manhasset and so far it has been wonderful!!!!!!

They have treated with the best customer service, have called when they said they would and helped myself and my girls pick the most perfect dresses.

Honestly, there are pros and cons. I ordered my dress as well as my bm and fg dresses there.

Pros: their hours are excellent and you don't need an appointment. The women were very nice and gave me alot of attention. The dresses were beautiful (but most wedding dresses are!) They gave the bms and fgs a 15% discount b/c I got my dress there

Cons: A little pricy, even though the women were nice they were kind of scattered. They 'lost' one of my flowergirl's measurements but then they found it,

I heard the same thing. I got my BM dresses, the FG dress and my dress all at Macy's. The women are all wonderfully helpful, we just had issues because only one woman knew how to use the computer and it took an hour to ring up all of my bridesmaids (MOH, 6 BM and 2 Jr BM).

I think they have a great selection. Check it out for yourself. I got nervous after the whole BM shopping thing, but once I went back and spoke to the manager about one of my OOT BMs and how to get her dress to her, I felt more at ease.

I used Macy's in Manhasset for my dress and my BM dresses. I had no complaints except that it was a little crowded at times. But everything came out beautiful!

ladies I know this showns funny but Burtons floral also orders dresses. so find the dress you want and go there no one can beat their price but the catch is I dont think they have a lot of samples. I didnt use them for BM dresses but it is worth looking into or calling them and asking how much before buying from someone else!

I've heard a lot of good and bad things about Macy's salon- everyone has been having their own experiences.

I just walked through a couple months back and was ignored.

I went there and felt they were way too over priced. I found my BM's dresses, Bill Levkoff's for $70 cheaper in another bridal salon.

Re: macy's bridal salon

I went there recently.....There were like 4 people there working (if thats what you want to call it) and my sister and I were the only 2 there.....Not one ever asked us if we needed help. When I asked one of the ladies for help she told me to hold on as she finished her PERSONAL conversation on the phone.......Yep, PERSONAL I said!!
And you would think that if they saw us with like 4 dresses that my sister was going to try on....the least they could have done was offered to take them and put them somewhere. I definatley wouldnt go back there.
This was the one in the Smith Haven mall.
I will though suggest you checking out Bridal Suite in Centereach....we went there after and had a totally different experience!!!
