Going there today to try on gowns...anybody every been there? I am very excited! I cant decide on my dress!

I have been there! The upside is that it is very clean and they have a great big selection and all the samples are in great shape/not beat up. The downside is that the sales people on the day I was there were rude and they lied to me - they told me these BM dresses only came in like 2 colors and then I went home on the designer's website and they came in literally like 20 colors. The girl who told me that was tryign to convince me to get the dresses she was using in her own wedding even though I didn't want to, and I think that's what she said it! Soooo....as long as you get a different sales person than I did, it should be a fun experience!

I purchased my Demetrios gown there...I loved that the saleswoman I worked with wasn't overly pushy. She let me put a refundable deposit down so my grandmother could come see it before we ordered.
I went a few weeks ago for a first viewing and I noticed that the salesperson just put the dress in the room and didn't ask if I wanted help...I had to go find her to ask. It was annoying, but I wasn't annoyed completely. They have my money so I know that now it is different.
They have gorgeous gowns- enjoy it and have fun!!

I was just there last week. The woman who helped me was Barbara, and she was extremely nice and very helpfu so you may want to request her. But, I was under the impression that all of the bridal gowns were Demetrios?? I know they have a lot of brands as far as BM dresses, but I thought all of the wedding dresses were Demetrios?
Also, they are having a trunk show Sept. 7-9.

My sister and I went there last week on a whim and everyone was soooo nice! She found a few really nice dresses, but she is going to look other places also, as they seem a little overpriced.

I got my dress there. And I worked with Charlotte! If you can try to get her. She was wonderful and personable. She never had an attitude and did everything - with a smile

It was great there1 And yes, all of the gowns there are made by Demetrios. It is not a macys bridal salon. It is a demetrios salon that just uses macy's as it's location.

I got my dress there, and when I asked about other brands they told me they only carried Demtrios for wedding gowns.. I did find the help great while trying on dresses and the ordering process, however, the lied when they told when my dress was going to come in and I called up, and basiclly they didnt want the dress to sit there for almost a year before my date even though I had explained at ordering time, that my mom was very sick and may not make it to my wedding day, and that's why I'm ordering early, so that she could see me in my dress, she was even with me, in a wheel chair and oxgen and all.. they did get it in right away after that though.. also i ordered my veil at the same time, again they come in fast and didn't want it to sit there, so they delayed ordeing till 3 months after I paid for it full.. and at that point it was discontinued, which no one ever told me when I went for my 1st fitting, till they looked it up.. so I had to reselect and the other thing I figured out was the veil I had ordered was anaveil(sp?) I paid 250 and when i looked it up at home to download a pic of it.. it was 107 through the direct vendor!! I was so mad! My dress is still there, till I pick up for alterations, some of the hand beading was coming off at my last try on of it, and there fixing it.. but in the end they fixed everything, and they ordered a new veil and gave it to me for the same price and it was almost 100 more... so they are ok, just be on top of your order. My daughter is getting her dress there and we worked with Charlotte. Try to ask for her....she is very nice to deal with...not pushy at all. If you shop around and find a lower price they will work with you.

I got my dress there and I was very happy with the selections and the service. I beleieve they only carry Demetrios wedding dreses but the selection was HUGE! Good luck!

I recommend Roxy!!! She's awesome!! I ran into problems with other girls there. Unfortunately I don't know there names. Good luck they have soooooooooooo many gordous dresses!!!

That is why I ordered my veils online. I used romanticheadlines.com. It came quick and they exchanged the 1st one because I decided I wanted something different. I only paid about $100.00 for 2 veils!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck.
