Went last night to add something onto my registry and wanted to peek into the bridal salon. I had to lie to get in!! As soon as I walked in the woman started STARING at my ring--I guess to make sure I had one on. Then I told them that we were undecided about a date because I just wanted to browse and the salesgirl was following me around and asking me all sorts of questions. they made me fill out a registration form.
I guess they don't just want people looking around... but I don't think that I'll ever recommend that anyone go there...

Re: Macy's Herald Square Bridal Salon
Wow, they're not like that at all at the Macy's in Manhasset. They let you look around as much as you want .

Re: Macy's Herald Square Bridal Salon
I went over there the other day at lunch (I work right across the streeet) just to check it out. I walked right in and no one said a word. It seemed as though they only carry a few bridal gown lines.....Maggie, Marisa, Demetrios and Diamond. They had a bunch of BM lines. Their prices seemed a bit high. There is one advantage of working in the city, I can run to all the local salons at lunch!
