FH and I registered at Macy's on Saturday, and the woman told us that Macy's will match prices from other stores, or the internet on registry items! I thought that was amazing but I had no idea, so I just wanted to share the info!! Obviously you would have to go to the registry counter and show them the proof of the other price, but I wonder how it would actually work out (if they would give you a hard time)....anyone know?
Macys does price match! If you are able to bring in a picture and price of the other item that helps. I had this happen with me with a pair of shoes. Lord & Taylor had them for less but didn't have my size. Macys had my size and I told them L&T has them cheaper so they actually called up and got the price and matched it!

Yeah I had found a dress cheaper in another store and they matched their price, I did not have a problem doing it!

alot of stores do this...i work at BBB and we do it too but it has to be the EXACT SAME ITEM...meaning company, size, even wattage if they look close enough! lol kohls linens n things do this too..........
