Hi ladies ... I am debating whether I should register at Macys in addition to Bed Bath and Beyond/Target. Did anyone find things that only Macys carried?
Anyone willing to FM me their name so I can check out their registry? Just trying to get an idea if its worth it or not! Etiquette seems to be 2 places. Thanks!

I am registered at Macy's and Bed Bath and Beyond and I found that a lot of people bought from my Macy's registery first. Also they have rewards and discounts that they offer. I am annoyed though because I registered for waterford glasses at BBB b/c I saw them there and then they were purchased from Macy's and I was not able to get the free glass since it was not on my registry. But, I guess that was my fault so I would suggest if Macy's has things that you can recieve free boneses then I would register for them there instead of BBB. Message me and I'll give you my info to look up my registry

Hey Chica!! I just did some of my registry this weekend. I am finding that Macy's has a additional items that BBB does not carry. For example, the flatware that we were going to register from BBB is also at Macy's, but they have additional servingware that matches as well. BBB did not carry these. I am not done registering, but you can take a look:
I am registered at both BBB and Macy's- so far I have had a great experience with both. I like the rewards program Macy's has (if you have/register for a Macy's card)- every gift someone buys you, you get a % of that total and after the wedding, they send you a gift card to the store. So far I think I'm up to like $150. For that reason, I registered for things like my china and crystal at Macy's.
Some of the things, I put on both registries (someone recommended this), especially since I am having 2 showers, because we already have an appt. together and don't really need much, so after the showers I can just return one if we get duplicates.
I will FM you so you can check out my registries.
Also, because our wedding is so far away, I haven't done towels and other linens, since they may not be around next summer as they are seasonal things. (we registered for bed linens, b/c we knew we were going to get them for our E-party)

We originally had a bigger registry at Macys but I switched most of the stuff on there to BB&B because I found it to be cheaper (plus there were some things at BB&B I liked that weren't at Macys). We still have the Macy's for certain things (like to add to the pots & pans that we already have - it's a Macy's brand that only Macy's carries) but the bulk of our registry is now on BB&B and Crate and Barrel.
