Macy's registry email notification - and a cute little FH story

So I got this email from Macy's today telling me someone bought us a gift that was backordered. It doesn't say who bought it, but it says what it is. Does anyone find this a bit odd? Especially with my mom 'yelling' (not really) at me for 'snooping'...

The funniest part, though, is that I mentioned it to FH that someone bought our cheese board and he said, 'yeah, I know, I saw it last night.' So, FH IS A PEEKER TOO! HA!

actually, Macy's has this thing called the Thank you tracker or something like that. DO NOT LOOK THERE!!!!!!!!! it will tell you everything!!!!! save it for after the wedding when you need to know who sent you what. I am sorry to tell you, i know that the suspense will be hard, but i didn't know what it was, so i clicked on it, and voila, i see what everyone has sent me!!!!!!!!!!! it was so upsetting!!

PS - a lot of my mom's family bought me shower stuff and didn't take it off the registry until after the shower because they think i am 'too smart for my own good' and they wanted me to be surprised!! don't be surprised if that happens to you guys!!

Alison, I am SOOOOOOOO sorry. I just didn't want you to make the same mistake i did. at least now you have a choice to click on it or not.
I think Macy's should tell you about that and let you have the option or not!!

PS - are you noticing that you are getting duplicates of things??
