Join Macy's Wedding & Gift Registry for an event featuring fun beverages, hors d'oeuvres, and great registry experts to help you create your dream registry. Bring your fiancé and he can play 007 with the scan gun while you sip your drink and approve his choices. You'll also receive a fabulous gift from us. The perfect weeknight date!

I work in Macy's registry department. You can attend Sip & Scan even if you're already registered! Just register for some more stuff. Or just sip and not scan.

What will happen to your registry
They will have free champagne (you get to keep your champagne glasses) and snacks and they'll have vendors from some of the brands there to help you choose your registry items. Then at the end you will receive a Victorinix tote bag with brochures and a free gift. When I went I got a spatula and a wine cooling bag.

Bed, Bath, & Beyond and Crate & Barrel have registry events also. But Crate & Barrel has them in the mornings. Crate & Barrel It may be different for each Crate & Barrel store location. Kate's Paperie also does something for brides, but you have to pay to attend; so I've never been. Here's the info for that one as well.

Each session is from 10am – 11:30am. April 19th in our 3rd Avenue location. May 3rd in our Greenwich location. May 17th in our 57th Street location. June 14th in our Soho location. July 12th in our 3rd Avenue location. August 9th in our 57th Street location.
Admission to this event is $10 per attendee. Each person will receive a $10 Kate’s gift card.
In addition, whether you are ordering your wedding suite, business cards or social stationery through Kate’s Custom Printing Department, we would like to present you with a special gift. Through May 7th, you will receive a Kate’s Paperie Giftcard for 15% of your total (custom printing) purchase. It’s Kate’s way of celebrating the New Year and thanking you for your custom stationery purchase. *Note: This gift card cannot be used toward initial purchase.
