Anyone have experience returning things purchased from your Macys registry?
I know BBB will take back anything even without a gift receipt if it is on your registry and give cash back for the full price without a hassle.
I've never returned anything from Macy's but I'm curious in case we just get accent pillows or something from our bedding and want to return it and buy the duvet, or something along those lines. Do they give you a hassle? Do they give you the lowest price the item ever sold for? (their prices fluctuate so much) Is it just store credit?

From what I understand, if it was bought from your registry (meaning the registry bar code was scanned at the time of purchase), then you don't need a gift receipt. If it's not from your registry then you need a gift receipt. It'll most probably be store credit, or it can be an exchange if it's a smiliar item. If you go to the Bridal Registry people, they'll take care of it...shouldn't be difficult.

do you know what price you get back? like the lowest price it ever sold for in the past 6 months, or the regular price, or the current price?
