Macy's Registry Vent......

Macy's Registry Vent......

FH and I are in the process of registering. We just completed our regestries at BBB & Fortunoff but we also decided to take a look at Macy's and register there for some odds and ends.

So.... last night we took a ride over the Macy's in the Queens Ceter Mall so we could register. Would you believe that the registry lady wouldn't let us register because we didn't have an appointment!?!?!?!?! Since when do you need an appointment to register? I was soooooooooo angry!!!!

We spoke to a manager who also told us that we needed an appointment. The registry associate was just sitting at her desk - why couldn't she take 2 minutes out of her life to help us!!!

UGH!!! Dumb rude lazy people make me mad!!

I second the suggestion for Roosevelt Field

I had an encounter w/ laziness @ the Green Acres Macy's...yeah ok I know it was Green Acres what else should I expect but it's close to my house...FH and I waited at the desk for 30-45 mins before someone would help us and it was not even the correct associate. I was LIVID. FH had to talk me down from talking about her mother!

We went directly to Roosevelt Field and they were the sweetest ladies and we needed no appointment.

Why not just start it online? Then you can always fill it in whenever you want....that's what I did with all of mine.

God forbid you made her work!!! How dare you! The Macys in Queens is always a fricken mess. Youre better off heading into the city...

I have to say i've had good experiences every time we went to register - but we registered in Jersey - near our home... My MOH did her registering at the one in Smithtown & loved every minute of it...

Oh - and no appointments necessary...i'm so sorry for what happened!

Clearly the person you dealt with has herpes.

I second that... clearly she was having a bad outbreak day or something ;)

Yeah - I don't like the QC-Mall Macy's. We only went there because it was close to FH's house and we didn't want to drive out to LI. We walked around the store for a little and I was very disappointed with their (lack of) selection. We're going to try the one in Roosevelt Field over the weekend. I'm sure our luck will be better there

I just called the store for you and complained to the manager that the registry person has bad herpes and its affecting her customer service skills.

Thank you. You're the best!!! Her outbreak must have been pretty bad.
