Macys Return Policy

Do they give you cash back if you return something from your registry? TIA

it depends how the item was orginally paid for.
Macy's will only give cash back for an item purchased with Cash...and of course you must have the reciept.
They will always issue store credit...sometimes you can ask for a check to mailed to your home.

I had a gift receipt and was issued store credit for an item purchased off my registry (it was a waterford bowl, but it had a little scratch!) . . . I don't know how the gift-giver originally paid for it though.

I returned stuff last night and didn't have a receipt and received a store credit for the purchase price.

I think if you have a receipt they would give you a refund.

Hello. I recently returned 3 items I had gotten from my Macy's registry and they gave me a gift card with the monetary amount. This is fine with me as I still have things I need to get off of my registry. Good luck...

after my eparty i returned some lenox items (they were so beautiful but we were given over 9 vases and we simply dont need that many) I don't even know if they were purchased in macys but knew they carry lenox so I got full price since the items never went on sale and they put the credit on my credit card (which was great b/c i didn't have to pay my bill then and I had extra credit to spend!!)

Macy's store policies are very customer friendly, but they don't do cash returns unless you have your reciept proving you paid cash.
