mad
Besides being St. Patrick's Day today is a 'special' day for FH and I.
So last night he said he would take me out to dinner before we had to meet some friends at 7pm.
So today I looked up a nice steakhouse because FH loves his steak and found a good one. Not too expensive, away from the St. Pat's day crowd, not too dressy but not too casual. I called him at 12 noon and told him. I kinda heard an 'oh' when I said I made reservations at 5pm. What did he expect? We are meeting friends at 7pm so I am not going to rush my meal for him.
He was going to walk in the parade but out out of work late so he and the other guys were heading over to a bar near their job. That was 2pm. So he called me and said did I want to come down to where he was after work and hang out there until 7pm
ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?
I spent half the morning online finding a nice restaurant. A *steakhouse* because he doesn't like 'nouveau cuisine' (ie: anything not seafood or steakhouse). And he was the one that wanted to take me out in the first place!
How dare he even suggest switching the plans. If it was any other day, I'd be miffed but not upset. Today? He KNOWS today is special.
Why did he have to do that?
So I pretty much told him tough, I don't care where his friends are, we're going to dinner and that's that.
Now I feel like the b&*ch who won't let him have any fun.
How can I enjoy dinner knowing he doesnt want to be there?
He should have kept his mouth shut about the restaurant. I didn't expect him to offer last night to go.
