Mad at FH!

i dunno if it's a guy thing, but sometimes fh just says the wrong thing.

my e-party is on oct 8. i spoke to my mom just now who told me that my brother found out that he has to go on a business trip to atlanta on oct 6. what?! huh?! on a friday?! when i travelled for work i never went on the weekend.

anyway, so i'm upset that he won't be there. i told fh this and he says, 'oh, well.' wth?!!

and to add to that, my bro asks my mom to CHANGE the date. everyone's been invited already!!!! we can't change it for one person. i think if he really wants to be there he should say something to his company - maybe i'm being bridezilla.

I'm so sorry. And yes, men don't think... They should have a trap door in their mouth that is connected to a woman's brain somewhere that will just close whenever they're going to say something insensitive or moronic. Maybe your bro can postpone it until Sun night?

Your FH probably didn't know what to say. Men use as few words as possible. I think their brains can only handle one sentence at a time.

Enjoy your e-party with those that are there. None of my siblings could make mine. Sometimes things happen. The wedding is the main day.

honestly I had a situation like this. my FH is from England and his family has to come in. and we planned our wedding around his cousin and it turns out she was coming the weekend after my wedding and she just flat out said sorry cant come. But I had FH call her and ask her to change her flight and she said OK without a problem so maybe call him and ask him to call his company maybe he just didnt think of that ?????

Maybe FH didn't realize how much it meant to you.
