??? My brother wants to bring his new girlfriend of 3 months to my wedding in Nov. I am not crazy about this for reason the first one b/c I didn't count a date for him when I made the list and sent the invites. He is so pissed at me, but y can't he understand that point. Keep in mind he is 23 and should be able to understand. I need your thoughts

Re: Mad at littel brother...not sure
well I'd say at 23 he should have been given the option of & guest. JMO ...For us we were doing mostly & guest except for those under 20

Personally, I would've invited my 23 year old brother with a guest. We only did 'and guest' for those in relationships & those who wouldn't know anyone else, but we made exceptions in the case of siblings & bridal party members.

Sorry, but I have to agree. I'm 23, and if I were invited without a guest, especially to my sister's wedding, I'd be POed.

i agree with the other girls. there's always time to add people before you give your final head count which is a week or so before the wedding. hes still your brother. even tho he didnt have one then, he has one now.

I would def make the exception since he is your sibling..I know it is annoying but it seems important to him

Yea I agree with the others. I'm 23 and now married You never know she could be your future SIL! He should have the option to bring a guest. 20% of guests typically say no..so there should be room for a date Good Luck!

well to be honest I have 2 younger sisters and they are both allowed to bring a guest...as long as I know before the final head count. But that is just me though..I was invited without a guest before I met FH and I was a little annoyed too...JMO...GL!

I think it's fine to have her along... but you might want to think about whether or not she's in the pictures. I wouldn't recommend her in the family pictures.

I would let him bring a guest since he is family. I can understand not inviting friends with guests who are single, but you should make that exception for your brother to keep the peace

Personally I WOULD invite him with a guest, hes 23 for one and hes also your brother. she should be able to bring his gf even if they are only daying 3 months (that doesnt mean she needs to be in your pictures though)
I agree with the other posters...my 19 year old brother was invited with a guest and he brought his girlfriend of 3 months. Just think of it this way...it is only one extra head, you make your brother happy and save yourself the aggravation of having him mad at you! Good luck! Have a great wedding!!
