Mad hot ballroom

I just saw this documentary yesterday - it's fantastic!!! It follows fifth grade classes in Washington Heights, Brooklyn and lower manhattan as they participate in a 10 week ballroom dancing program, in preparation for a NYC public school dance contest. The kids are adorable and hilarious and it shows how the arts can impact anyone's lives.

It's so funny and heartwarming - see it!

I havent seen it yet, but plan on it with my mom; she works in the Washington Heights School where a couple of the kids go to.
