I'm getting married the 25th of july,and bought my original maggiesottero dress in an authorized shop in miami.Paid in full cash.my expected shipping date would be in may ,now comes the stress part : iIhear nothing from the retailer ,they cant even give me some information about my dress.I keep contacting them ,and they give me the same excuse like everytime. seeing that i dont live in the states makes me furiousssss. The dress was very exspensive!!!! I think i have the right to now whats going on.I feel like i'm begging for something i paid for,seeing that my day is coming very soon, i want everything to be perfect

oh my!!! keep bugging them!!! thats ridiculous, they better start giving you some answers! if you can, hop on a plane and go in the store and see whats going on. or do you know anyone that lives in miami- maybe they can go to the store for you?

i agree with everyone this is serious business now. they need to tell you what is going on with your dress! if you know anyone who can go down there then send them but if not keep calling and i would tell them that if they don't give up some answes and send your gown, you are going to report them to the better business bureau and write bad reviews on every wedding website that you can. maybe they will change their tune when they think you are going to ruin their rep.

Do you have a receipt/contract evidencing your payment and the designer of and model of the dress? You should contact maggier sottero directly, report the retailer, and explain the problems you are having and that you need ur dress ASAP. It is a reputable company and I am sure they will make it right for you.

I have the receipt ,and already told them that my sister inlaw will be there 2 weeks from now,she just replyed ,and said 'ow i'm sorry its definitely not gonna be ready by then' and that was it ,not even a a date when it will be ready nothing.my parents who live in holland and soon to be parents in law are all worried ,and keep asking me about the dress....and all i can say is i dont now nothing ,but i just send a new email and hope that she has better newsss uuugghhh ....and i will definetely keep on harrassing her..i just needed to let it oud..thank you guys for understanding i tought i was overreacting by the retailer acting so cool and everything thank you!!

I would be mad too and you have every right to be...you should be going for your fittings now!! I agree with the previous poster, I would call Maggie Sottero directly and find out what's going on...also look up this retailer on the BBB....something doesn't seem right to me! Maybe they have a miamiweddings.com or something like this chat board where you can ask the brides about their experiences with this store?

Now's the time to start getting a bit mad, but controlled mad. I hope you paid for it on your credit card. If so, you can start to threaten them by saying that you have no choice and will need to dispute the charges and look for a new dress. They will say you can't, blah, blah blah. But according to the cc companies you can because the services bought and paid for were never rendered. You never received the dress. They also can't sent you something else and say you were supplied with a dress, it has to be for the exact dress that is listed on your receipt.

I can't believe how la dee da they are about this...don't they know what kind of stress they are giving you! I swear if I lived in Miami i would go there for you! Keep calling and harassing, tell them them that you will take this legally if nothing happens.
