If you're taking the LIRR in, at the kiosk where you buy train tickets, they have packages that include train and tickets to a city attraction. They have one for the wax museum and train for like $36 I think and considering that the museum itself is around $30, it's a big money saver.

Ive been to the one in Vegas and it was col. It took a little over an hour to go through. It all depends if you take pictures and how long you look at them

Re: madame tussaud's wax museum?
i've been there with my cousins. it took us an hour because they wanted pictures in every single statue... we went in october and looked at their mini-horror booth. it was so much fun but it was so dark, i had to ask one of the monsters where to go. he pointed to where the exit was then ran after us... like kids, we were screaming like crazy!
