We met with the lead singer of a band tonight, and FH and I really liked him. He was so down to earth and completely understood our desire to just party all night long! I hate going to weddings where every 10 minutes they stop the music for nonsense. We didn't book him because we didn't want to seem too eager, but on the way home FH said I should just call him and have him prepare a contract.
I think he's giving us a pretty good deal as well. It's a 4 piece band, male and femal vocalist plus DJ who also acts as MC for $4600, for 5 hours. How does this price sound? I haven't called him yet.

sounds pretty good, we got quoted over 7k for an 8 piece band, 4hrs, during cocktail one or two guys play, which makes it 5hrs i love them, but we still have to look around and see what else is out there

congrats...my friend had a greek band at their wedding and they were great...loved the music that they played
