Made by E-- Can anyone help

Ladies:
I ordered an aisle runner with madebye and had a series of email exchanges with erin. Since then I haven't heard anything from her despite numerous emails asking for follow up info, etc.
Finally, I got a paypal invoice asking for a deposit, I sent her a response email asking whether she included a change I wanted. I did pay the deposit though (as I really want an aisle runner and found good reviews of her on this site). 10 days later, still no response.

I don't know what to do. I called the credit card company to cancel it but they said since I authorized it they can't.

Has anyone heard anything about made by e

I've heard negatives about her in regards to her response time (or lack there of.) Otherwise, everything positive in regards to her work and final product.

I personally think you have time before the wedding and if she doesn't include the change you asked for, you have the email backing it up.

I have been emailing back and forth with her too.... She had a family emergency and was out of town for a couple of weeks, but last week I spoke with her and I paid my deposit... I found it fustrating as well, but just keep emailing her...... I did... and eventually she'll get back to ya... Good Luck!!!

I would have loved to have been one of those brides that has time to do DIY projects but I can barely keep my head above water. NOt to mention my maid of honor hasn't been helpful at all. I saw some beautiful DIY runners on this site.

I wish I knew what was going on with her. Not too many negative reviews for Madebye. That's why I went with her.

I got our aisle runner from her, and the finished product was wonderful. She is not the easiest person to get in touch with but I found that she was really on top of her stuff, just not very 'customer service' oriented, i.e. not great about keeping in touch, etc. It can be frustrating, but I would be willing to bet you will be happy with the end product. I agree. I sent her a couple of e-mails and she just got back to me.

same here -- she told me that it would be ready in june but then she pushed it back cause she was doing work for thehumane society...You just have to stalk her but you will get it and it will be beautiful just stay on top of her!

Well, I finally heard from Erin a while back after I put a stop payment on my credit card. I sent a strong email expressing my disappointment. She apologized but was not that convincing. She told me she would refund my money directly to me but I told her to just notify paypal and that my credit card co was taking care of it. I was SO disappointed. Very flaky! That's why I didn't even trust letting her refund my deposit herself.

Actually, at the recommendation of another LIW bride I used another vendor. My runner came yesterday and it is exactly what I wanted. She had good customer service.

I would suggest sending her emails daily. I hear she will eventually get back to you although I couldn't deal w/ the stress anymore. If you decide to use someone else, let me know I will give you my person's info. I was very happy w/ her.
