Made me sooo sad...

Ok....
you ladies I am sue have seen some of my past posts. FH's mom, dad and older brother are great!! Bit strange with certain things but great nonethless. His sister is a nightmare and younger brother is just an *** hahah.
His aunts, cousins etc are nice but thy are not an open, loving, nice fam. My family treats Michael liek gold absolutely love him!!! For example on Xmas hiss ister and younger bother got me nothing not even a card, she 'did not want to give me anything'. I went to his familoys hosue and brought cookies and huge bouquet of flowers. His family exchanged gifts no one had a thing for me. My fam. addresses everything to melissa and michael he is always included as apart of my life. His family doe snot. they help with nada and always have something to say.

My mother and I were chatting this AM and it made me so sad she said how she loves michael but she feels liek she is giving her treasure away to a fmaily does not appreciate me and shows me no repsect and it makes her sick to her stomahc. I know its true thats why it makes me so sad. i cna tell FH how I feel I always do he just comes upw th excuses for them. It just made me so sad...

Awww, I feel bad for you, maybe once you are married they will take you in!!!! Sometimes families are like that it is not official until you are married!! Hang in there at least your FH appreciates you!

I'm so sorry. This is a very sticky situation. On the one hand you dont' want to say anything negative about your future fam to FI since he's naturally going to be defensive...but on the other, how much of this can you take before you absolutely HAVE to say something? I've felt like this at times and have tons of friends going through the exact same thing! I feel for you sweetie. I guess my advice is 'pick your battles'. That's what has worked for people I know.

Bee's like honey, not vinegar, in the interum, kill em with kindess,except without any flowers or cookies. NOTHING but your kindness. They'll come to there senses one day. Don't hold your breath though

its so unfortunate when you give his family your all and they respond to your kindness by acting completely disgusting. I just dont understand some people sometimes...here's a whole bunch of hugs for you, dont let them get to you as hard as it may be

aw Im so sorry that they are like that with you. I agree with your mom, I would feel the same way about my child if the FILs were treating them like that. I hope that after you are married they are able to welcome you more into their lives as part of it instead of just someone being there.

Thanks girls for the support it is just so depressing and I am not one to sit here and take it but I would never want to make FH uncomfortable by letting them have it.
