Madoff...but with a question.....

Okay so we all know who he is and what he's done...but my question is about his wife.
She is claiming that she knew NOTHING about this.


Do you believe her? Do you think either you or your FH or DH could keep such a huge secret like this for 30 years????? NO drama. Just opinions, be respectful.

I think I would probe into and find out why we had so much money and what my husband did at work for us to warrant such a lifestyle. I mean they were married for like 30 years.....I dunno...he must be one GOOD LIAR!

I find it a little bit hard to believe that she didn't know what was going on.

I know a couple of people who were clients of his and I'm still confused as to how they didn't question anything. When everyone else was losing $$ or getting these small investment returns, didn't they think something was up when they were making 20-30% on their investments?

She knew.

She is shaking because she is wanting to keep her lifestyle. Quite frankly, the whole family should pay and be penny-less!

yeah . . she had to know. . she worked with him for the love of god. . though if she knew I can guarantee he prob never told her. there was obviously sooooo much ego wrapped up in him he wouldnt admit he wasn't the 'miracle' he claimed to be.

I am so glad he is in jail right now but it makes up for nothing! I have had family members lose their houses because of that man, knew others who had their 401ks entirely in madoff and seriously he NEVER even said he was sorry. .. that one can not realize the depth of personal and emotional destruction he was perpetrating. .

Of course she knew. She should be in jail also.

She knew. But she doesn't need to spill it because of spousal privilege.
