Re: Magazines...
I subscribe to Lucky. I buy InStyle regularly (should really get a subscription). I want to get the InStyle wedding issue! I read People regularly when I'm at my chiropractors.

Re: Magazines...
I've been thinking of subscribing to some sort of cooking magazine. Can any of you who get one or more tell me what they are like/which you think is best?

I get a lot, though i'm trying to cut down. I'm not renewing Vogue or MS Living.
I do get: People US Entertainment Weekly Jane InStyle Glamour Real Simple Details Rolling Stone Everday Food (New MS recipe mag)
I'll pick up Lucky sometimes. I buy MS Weddings and sometimes Modern Bride.

Re: Magazines...
Valenia,
I get two cooking magazines both by the same company.
The first is called Tast of Home and the other is called Quick cooking. I love both of them because 1) no advertisements, 2) the receipes are sent in by people around the country so no fancy ingrediants here 3) its easy to follow. The quick cooking one is good and shows you how to use either canned or frozen food to make some delisious receipes.
They arent too expesvie either. I think the quick cooking one is $11 for a year and the other one is $13.
Let me know if you want more info on them.

tabloids, star, enquiror. I read them on the train. I buy then whenever there is something good on the cover.
I buy people once in a while. When something on the cover looks interesting.

Re: Magazines...
Thanks for the tip Lisa Rose, those magazines sound great. I'm a bit intimidated by truly Gourmet recipes that send you to the cow to make cheese. Short cuts, and realism are good! Do you know if they have a web site?

Re: Magazines...
Valenia: Martha Stewart just came out with a Reader's Digest size EASY meals book. My mom got it and they are really easy, not like MS's other recipes where you can't find this type of cheese, etc. I would check it out first before you subscribe but it looked pretty good!

Re: Magazines...
I'm a massage therapist so I subscribed to 3 magazines for my waiting room (New York, Mens Health and Self) and now I swear I get at least 15 different magazines each month -- free! -- everything from RedBook to Aviation. I love magazines though! My newest favorite is Real Simple.
