Maggie Dress ??
My dress is a Maggie Sattero , when I tried it on I tried it with a strapless bra, my salesperson says that I won't need to wear a bra with that dress b/c of it's design and the corset back. I am a B/C cup. Anyone have any experiences with this ?The dress is the Jorie Ann!
Thanks!!

I was told something similar but when I put it on I needed it. When you go for your first fitting you will know right away. Most places have undergraments there. Mine was pretty cheap (35 dollars)

Re: Maggie Dress ??
I will be trying on Maggie dresses soon. If they suggested that to me, I would still wear some type of undergarment (bra, corset, etc.). I wouldn't feel comfortable without anything. My sister had a Maggie dress, and from what I remember.... IMO I don't think the corset back is made to hold you up in that respect, I think it is more for the aesthetic appeal and quality.

Re: Maggie Dress ??
With the corset you def don't need it. I am about the same size as you and I think a strapless will be uncomfortable and I don't want to be adjusting/pulling it up all night.Howeveer, I think I am going to have cups sewn in bc the boning makes it 'pointy' and hopefully that will round it out a little better.

Re: Maggie Dress ??
I have a maggie too and I am going to get a seamless bustier with a low back. This way i wont be pulling or feeling like im falling out. And with the low back the lacing will still show how it's supposed to. I've also heard of sewing the cups into the dress. Depends on what make you most comfy. I would bring some options to your first fitting!

Re: Maggie Dress ??
i had a maggie with a corset back. my place told me to get wear a bra, which i did. i am a DD cup, so i am on the bigger side and would not have felt comfortable without a bra. it really depends on how you feel without one. they can build cups inside the dress, but that doesn't always hold you up nicely. i felt much more comfortable having the corset bra and the dress tied up. i never was playing with my dress or felt like i was falling, which was a relief!i would suggest bringing a bra with you, just don't take off the tags so you can return it if you don't need it.

With a B/C cup, I think you can def get away with having cups sewn in. If you're a little bigger, it might be better to have a bit more support. I'm a B cup, and I had a strapless Maggie dress with a corset back... having the cups put in was perfect. I didn't want a bra or anything else extra under there to make me sweat! It worked out really well.

Re: Maggie Dress ??
I just went and tried my Maggie on again today...the sales associate told me the same thing about not wearing a bra and I still think I will wear one. I had on the long line bra today and it was really comfortable, I didn't have to adjust anything.

i had a maggie corset back. D cup. didnt need to worry about a thing. it totally held me in, s ucked me in, almost to the point of it being painful! a corset is not only for looks, its meant to do that as well!!
