I don't know if any of you girls are considering a dress from here, but her new collection is up
P.S. I have the feeling that I am going to buy my dress this year... 2 or 3 sizes smaller...

Re: Maggie Sottero
And very affordable, I went to try on dresses with Goldie a couple of weeks ago and the Victoriana that I tried on was 900 dollars
With prices like that, and a possible deeper discount from trunk shows I may just get my dress this year provided that I fall in complete and utter love with it.

And Goldie I know you are having your dress made but they have a dress that is ivory and ivory with gold accents
ETA: Gold seems to be the new color, many of her dresses are coming in gold and light gold!

Re: Maggie Sottero
i think im one of the few people who doesnt want to spend $900. I dont want to spend a lot on my dress since I'm wearing it for only one day. I'm hoping I fall in love with something very very affordable.

Re: Maggie Sottero
I want something affordable, but I also want to feel beautiful. I refuse to go over $1400 including alterations. Good to hear that's possible with Maggie. Thanks Alesia. Keep saying I'm going to Davids for the first experience to see what style i like....also for me to see what I'd look like at this weight so I can kick my weight loss into high gear. Feels like I have forever to lose weight...think if I see myself I'll realize not so much,

Why are they cheaper at trunk shows? Never been to one.

Yeppers! She is having one around Thanksgiving, I have had my fair share of black friday's, so trunk shows should be a breeze!!!!

Just saw something in bridal magazine that Alfred Angelo has dresses for $399. Worth taking a look. Saw a beautiful one, don't know how much it is though.

Re: Maggie Sottero
Maggie Sottero and Alfred Angelo are my favorite designers.
My super-duper-revised-Excel-Spreadsheet Wedding Budget estimates that I can not spend more than 1200.00 on a dress including alterations.
I went to David's Bridal in Westbury last night for fun... I'm not a big fan of the store, but I liked a lot of the dresses. I just hate their customer service so I don't want to buy a dress their based on principal.

Thanks sweetie! Going to check him out next. Gonna make a dress album to start the ball rolling. Fell in love with a Maggie. Grace Kelly. OMG everything I want in a dress
Yep - fell in love with one also. Have to wait until next year though. See if I can actually look decent in it. On internet though I found prices from $428 to $600 for it. You never know
