How long did it take for your dress to come in? About 8 months or so? TIA!

I don't have a Maggie SOttero dress BUT I do have this great book called BRIDAL BARGAINS and they rate the designers and they rated her with a D becauase they said though her dresses are lovely and well priced, the designer tends to be a pain in the butt with getting the dresses in on time. So maybe thats the issue. Hope it works out!

I ordered my Maggie dress from Lillette's in early July and they said it would be in, in late Jan early Feb so I guess around 7 months.

I have a Maggie Dress but I didnt order from Lillette's. My dress came in 6 1/2 months after I ordered it.

I had maggie sottero's capri marie, but didn't buy it from lilletes. However, they say it takes about 7-9 months to make a wedding gown. I got engaged March 2005, and bought my dress by the end of that month, SKIP foward until SEPTEMBER of 2005, I changed the dress from IVORY to WHITE and they still had it in like around March of 06! It doesn't take as long as they say it does . . . ! But maggie sottero is a very popular designer . . .

Although I'm starting to have slight dress doubts....wonder if I shoulda kept looking. But I did have that 'this is the one' moment after trying to decide between this one and a couple others. I just worry this isn't bride-y enough!

if you had that 'this is the 1 feeling' when u tried it on!!....then its the one!!! my maggie sottero, capri marie wss the very first dress i tried on, and i knew it was the one!!! my mom MADE me try on others [ i think like 3 others ] and i kept saying no,,,,,i want capri marie! capri marie is the 1! you just KNOW! and alot of the times, its usually the very first wedding dress you try on! [so thats what people tell me]
its gorgeous and you will look stunning in it!

Well...now I feel sorta better. I went to maggiesottero.com and saw some testimonials of my dress! They never used to have them before but here they are!!! I love how it photographs!

Thank you!! Yeah would you believe I had been looking at pics of that dress even before I got engaged? I think I always knew! And even though I tried on a few dresses before I tried on Monterey, I don't count those because it wasn't a 'serious' looking day (went to RK bridal and they didn't have Maggie so I wasn't taking it seriously haha). Monterey was technically, in my eyes, the first dress I tried on!! There was an awful lot of drama choosing between that one and another...but I tried on Monterey again and there was no question.
I know it's a different experience when you have the full look- I hope it all works out!

Oh yes, you can definitely put a rush on it. Unfortunately that means more
Good luck though!! I would recommend trying them on at Lillette's (or another store that carries lots of Maggies like Paradise Bridal in Patchogue, Renate's in Lindenhurst or Princess Bridal in Farmingdale)...choose which one you like, and contact Phyllis at Bridal Elegance to get a better quote.
