I am starting my dress search in earnest now, and a lot of the dresses I like are a little on the pricier side. I have been seeing a few beautiful lace Maggies (Anastasia in particular), but I really don't care for the look of a corset. Does anyone know if there is a way that they can cover up the corset on the back. I know that corset style gives a great fit and shape, but the exposed corset is holding me back. I am interested in trying on some Maggies because I think the dresses fit extremely well and the price point is more reasonable, but I don't want to try on if there isn't a way around the exposed corset.

Like...the corset without material behind it?? IDK about that particular one, but my Maggie has a piece of material behind the corset so there's no bare skin showing below it...

you can have them order it so the v of the corset is smaller by getting a larger size. There is also a modesty piece so you don't have the exposed skin behind the corset if you prefer

i was told today that they can take out the corset and make it a zip back

OMG! Thanks for this information! I was wondering the same thing as the OP. I really don't like the look of the corset in the back. If it was switched out with a zipback do you think it would still do the same purpose of making the dress really flatter me?

all the maggie dresses come with a modesty piece so in between the corset strings you don't see your skin you see the same color as your dress. maybe when u tried it on it didn't have the piece anymore. i just checked the maggie website & that dress has the modesty piece.
like another poster said you can have them remove the corset back & insert a zipper.

I don't think the OP means that she is concerned with her skin showing through the corset strings (correct me if I am wrong though.) I think that she just doesn't like the whole corset look, strings tied up with modesty piece included, in general.
