Maggie Sottero in General and Maggie's Jenna!

I started wedding dress shopping yesterday. My favorites were all Maggie Sottero dresses- Evelyn, Jovi and Milana was kind of pretty, too.

However, I went shopping again today and I tried on the Jenna and it totally knocked the other Maggies out of the water. I'm still not sure if it's the one, though. It made my body look slammin' though! Like I have never, ever, EVER seen it look. My body looked like a guitar! (Know what I mean?)

Anyways, the dress made my mother cry and she said it definitely had the wow factor. I just dunno about the ruffles on the bottom. I have sort of a love/hate relationship with them. I definitely want to try more Maggies. Which stores have biiigggg Maggie selections? I went to Lillette's and Village Bridal yesterday. Village Bridal had quite a few Maggies, but I still want to try on Simone and possibly Rhianna Royale and some others. So I need to keep looking. I went to Charisol in Flushing today and that is where I found the Jenna (though I could've passed it by yesterday since I dont really consider myself a ruffle type of gal. Something today made me try it on, though.)

Any advice on where to go for Maggie's and other dresses I might like from her would be greatly appreciated.

What I loved about the Jenna - the ruching at the top and the dropped waist with the corset back made my body look SLAMMING. holy crap, i looked like friggin beyonce or j lo or something ha! The ruffles I'm not too sure about though they are so fun. The train in the back is beautiful. I would prolly add some more beading to the sweetheart at the top. And the taffeta... not too sure about that, either.

Alyssa79- i saw the rhianna royale in lillette's but i couldn't try it on b/c it was a size 6 and no way my butt was gonna get in it! village bridal sold their sample of it, too! so i will keep looking. it is a gorgeous dress. btw, those bridesmaid dresses you have in your 'dresses' album- who makes them? so pretty!

shannon- hahahaha yes, i hope my fiance will want to play me all night long hahahah. also, i see that you are 33 lbs down- WOW, GO YOU! i've lost about 15 and i wanna lose btween 5 and 10 more. i know how hard it is so you should be so proud of yourself!

Eden makes them! Village Bridal was the only place that had them.

Helen's (in Commack) had a size 10 for the Rhianna Royale sample and somewhere else did too. I stuffed myself into that 6 with the back not being able to close at Lillette's and it so wasn't cool

I got my Maggie dress at Helens in Commack. They had a ton of Maggies when I was there! Good luck, happy dress shopping!!!!

OOOH! Have a great time I don't recognize Simone as having it... but I have to tell you that the silk fabric on Simone isn't going to have the same structure as Jenna; which I love btw!
