Thank you to all the ladies who have been helping me with my dress shopping dilemmas! Today I tried on Maggie's Jean http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?line=m&pageSize=8&page=5&style=S5082
It looked really good on. I think I like it better than the Casablanca, and am strongly considering it.
I emailed the link to my best friend, and she said she liked the dress but the bottom lace looks like a tablecloth!
What do you ladies think? I actually really loved the bottom.
ETA: Please be brutally honest, does the bottom look like a tablecloth? I really am bad a deciphering good from cheap lace -- it all looks the same to me.

its a very lovely dress. I think i tried it on but i wasn't a fan of the pick up feel to it but honestly its very flowy and pretty.

That is a magnificent gown and the lace on the bottom DOES NOT look like a table cloth. If it looks good on you and you love it then go for it. Again it is beautiful.

I like the dress a lot but it's not really my taste. I think I would have preferred it without the overlay. I absolutely love the top though.
If you love it though, you should get what makes you feel happy. However, if you are unsure about the lace on the bottom you can try on this Paloma Blanca dress which is similar (lace top, chiffon bottom with pickups, no lace underlay)
Looks a little goofy in the picture but I tried it on in person and it was actually really pretty. In the end I opted for a different dress, but it was pretty and unique.
Aww, is your friend kidding......that dress is gorgeous!! I think the lace on the bottom is very elegant and almost victorian-looking, I love it!! Very classy

I think that dress is very pretty. I am not a fan of hte lace at the bottom on the train but I really do like the dress itself alot.

I had this dress on for like 10 minutes because I loved it so much. It is very different on than in the picture. I didn't go with it because it doesn't come in gold.
I think it is beautiful and I never liked the pick-up look.
