Ok so I am a 2012 bride (sorry to crash lol) and Saturday I feel in love with a Maggie Sottero 'Sylvia'. I had tried a different Maggie on in Satin with lace in Ivory but the only sample they had for my the 'Sylvia' was Diamond white so I figured I would order it in Ivory. When I got home I started to think about how the material makes a difference in how the color comes out. Now I am bugging I called the Bridal Shop and left them a message asking them not to order my dress yet. The reason for my post here is I have heard that some of you brides went with the 'Sylvia' for your big day. Anyone have any pictures of their dresses, anyone purchase it in Ivory? Its so hard not seeing the dress in the color you want!! I am really starting to freak. PLEASE HELP!!! Thank you in advance.

I feel your pain! My sample was in cameo pink! The store had no other dresses or even a swatch of the Maggie silk white. I had to cross my fingers and it's beautiful! I'm sure it will be great in ivory!

Had the same issue with my Maggie. Its 'Scarlet' I tried on the sample in light gold and ordered it in Diamond White. When it came in it was even more beautiful!

i ordered sylvia...but i got her in diamond white (as sampled)...did you get it from lilettes??? If you did, you should call them and ask them for a swatch of the ivory. when i got mine they had swatches they were able to give me one so that i had the color incase i needed to match anything Also, go back and try it on and see if the store will dim the lights for you...lilettes did that for me (their idea i hadnt heard of it before) and the dress in diamond white shaded off to ivory imo and during your reception the lights will be dim
