Maggie Sottero Victoriana girls- What kind of slip are you wearing?
A month to go and I still need a slip. It needs to have a little crinoline in it but not too much. I didnt like the one they tried with the dress at my bridal suite. It had a drawstring waist and it wasnt comfortable. I think i had tried one on in davids bridal that had a clasp top like a bra has.
What kind of slip do you have?
ETA: I dont know if I'll even need one. I wonder if anyone is planning on going without one??

I bought mine at David's Bridal. It's a ball gown slip.

i didnt wear one, it was all in the dress well there were layers and layers and layers underneath my dress when it came. THe sample was NOT like that at all so i was surprised. I had to take some out bc it was too much.
are you sure you definitely need one?
but i would stick with getting it at your bridal store

your dress came in already right, did you feel you needed it or were they just trying to sell you one. If you felt you need then def get it.

I had my first fitting last week with the drawstring slip they gave me. I didnt try it without it. I should have.
But they were trying to get me to buy one there. I told the woman that i didnt like the drawstring and that I was going to try and get an elastic one.

yeah dont be pressured to buy something you don't want, you have to be comfortable.

I have the Victoriana and I am using my MOH's slip that she wore on her big day. It has an elastic band and it's pretty poofy!!! I want my dress to be really poofy!!

same here!!! i got mine free from a fellow liw bride!!! it has the elastic. i havent treid ikt with m dress yet. i dont like the drawstring either.

I bought mine where I got my dress (Lillettes) and Im pretty sure it was called a full slip lol
