Sorry for reposting, but I'm still having trouble deciding and I'm running out of time. Has anyone ever had/seen both a Maid AND Matron of honor in their/a bridal party? FH is only having one BM. Our numbers matching up so I couldn't have the MOHs both walk with the BM because that would leave 2 guys without partners and FH is a stickler for the BP matching up. Ugh, such crazy stuff to think about but my paretns are starting to hound me about it (nicely, for now) and I could use as much advice as possible.

I have definitely heard of having both a Maid of Honor and a Matron of Honor. I was one of 2 Maids of Honor at my friend's wedding. Don't get so caught up in having ppl walk down with the 'right' person based on titles. You should be able to put whoever you want in your BP - that's what makes it unique & personal. I don't see the big deal of your Matron of Honor or Maid of Honor walking down with one of the groomsman!

Bottom line, it's your wedding so enjoy it with the people you love & don't get caught up on titles as far as pairing ppl together

I'm having a Maid and Matron of Honor. My older sister will be my Matron of Honor and my little sister is my Maid of Honor. You can do whatever you want!

I have 2 maids of honor and he has 1 best man. And in total we both have 5 on each side. I couldn't decided between the 2 of them so I'll just figure out how they'll walk in later

I'm having a maid of honor and a matron of honor. I don't really know how I am going to have them walk down though. I will prob have my sister (maid of honor) walk by herself and my matron (my best friend) walk down second to last with one of FHs 2nd in command men. Still not sure yet though.

Im having two...and FH is only having one...its okay b/c they can walk arm and arm and I had to have two b/c they are my best of friends and always been there for me so its really special ...i would go with two!!!!!!

I'm having 2 maids of honor. My bridal party is an uneven number but I don't really mind. My 2 maids are walking the BM down the aisle. It's what you feel comfortable doing. HTH

I have seen both. It's really all up to you. FH has one best man, three groomsmen. I'm having two bridesmaids, one man of honor (my brother). Do what you like!

you can def have both. and BM can walk both back down the isle.; of if you need an extra guy I'm sure you can find one. remember its your wedding (not the wedding of weddings past)

My cousin had both at her wedding and the BM just walked with both MOH's. Also since her was uneven she had 2 girls walk with one guy. I know you said your FH really wants it even but it should be about who is important to you in the BP not just putting people in your wedding to have an even amount. In the end no one will even remember.
