Maid of Honor

Is anyone doing anything for their maid of honor to make them look different than the other bridesmaids, I was trying to come up with ideas. I don't want to do a different style dress, but I was thinking maybe a bigger bouquet? Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Maid of Honor

I am having the same dilemma. :) What about having the same style dress but having a different color for the MOH? For example I might have my BM's in periwinkle and my MOH in lavendar (or something else that compliments the color). Another idea is to give the MOH a different bouquet (like you said). Or maybe have her wear flowers in her hair? Just my suggestions!! Good luck :)

Maid of Honor-one idea

The dresses that my BM are wearing have a small line of bugle beads under the bust line, I'm going to have them put same beads around the top of the dress for my MOH. This way she will stand out, but not 'stand out' (if you know what I mean).I will also do a bigger bouquet for her. Some other ideas may be getting the same dress in a slightly different shade, or depending on the dress she could wear a wrap, maybe her dress could be strapless and the others have straps, or vice versa. You could add a different detail to her dress such as a train or extra beading. Continued success!

Maid of Honor

I'm doing the same as Nicky. Same color as BMs but theirs are 2 pieces and my MOH is wearing a dress--with a different neckline too. As for flowers, I think she will have the same as BMs but a little larger.

Maid of Honor

I'm doing a rainbow and my girls are all in different pastel rainbow colors, so my MOH is in her color preference - blue, which works out well since I have a rose theme. So, I'm doing a bigger bouquet with all the girl colors (roses) for my MOH. Different and recognizable, I hope!! :-) Good luck!

Matron of Honor

I`m only having a Matron of Honor and one bridesmaid, along with a flowergirl. However, our florist recommended we don`t do different sized bouquets for the MOH and Bridesmaid, because than there would be three different sizes counting my bouquet. So the girls will both have a larger bouquet than the normal bridesmaid one. But maybe we could have the florist do the MOH bouquet slightly different, maybe with some ribbon accents or something. Their dresses and shoes are the same.

Maid of Honor

My maid of honor wore the same dress, but different jewelry and her bouquet was bigger than my other bridesmaids' bouquets. Their dresses were a deep, dark lavendar, and I gave my bridesmaids amethyst necklaces to wear. I gave my maid of honor a pearl necklace and matching earrings to wear, so she and I wore pearls. It looked really nice in the pictures!!!
