Re: Maid of Honor
She isn't helping financially...she is planning the B-Party...as it gets closer I'm sure she will help with other little things.

Re: Maid of Honor
My MOH was AMAZING!
Starting with going with me to find my dress (my mom is not very interested in this stuff), to proofing everything, to being my consultant, to planning my bachelorette party in Vegas, to writing a gorgeous poem for her toast, to helping with my shower (I mostly planned that myself), to PAYING for my wedding dress as her present to me!!!! I can't thank her enough for everything that she'd done.

Re: Maid of Honor
My MOH is my sister and she has not done anything for me. I still have a year and a half til my wedding, but she hasn't even really asked me anything about my wedding plans, etc. She hasn't even seen my hall yet. I hope she shapes up, or I am demoting her!!!!

I love my MOH she is the bestest she keeps me sane through everything i can't tell you how many folwers we have looked at online must be hundreds by now and i still have yet to decide on what i really want. she deals with my changes in dresses. we are 500 miles apart but is so awesome in all of this wedding stuff and is honest in with things i ask her and doesn't candy coat any thing and i really appreciate that. i love my MOH

Re: Maid of Honor
She helped me find the dress for the BMs to wear. Other stuff she pretty much did jointly with the other BMs...planned bachelorette party, and helped me kept track of gifts at the shower. She didn't help financially, but I don't think that's expected anyway.

Re: Maid of Honor
My MOH is my sister. She is not helping financially but she is definitely helping with all the arrangements and details - and most of all the moral support through all this craziness!

Re: Maid of Honor
My maid of honor mostly helped with moral support and keeping me sane. She looked at a couple of things with me, and went to pick her dress. She also planned the bachelorette party and helped my mom plan the shower, and wrote her toast. Financially, she bought a few things for the shower and she split the bach party with one of my other friends (I only had a moh and my sister as bm, so I didn't have a whole bridal party to split it with, and my sister was just barely 18 at the time, and just starting college, so she couldn't be relied on for much).

This is what I asked mine to do and its really worth more than anything she could ever do for me.
I only asked her to just pick a navy dress and stand next to me and hold me down in case I want to run.
