No, they aren't random people. This is an actual husband and wife who were married during that year.

It's not 2 completely random people. It's couples who were married this year. The 06ers applied to be in the Bridal Party and Preshy7 was chosen as this year's bride and her DH will be the groom. She'll wear the dress she wore for her actual wedding, they get to relive it again!! Then there's a Matron of Honor and 3 BMs, with their DH's as best man and groomsmen. This year Shorty came up with the idea of an 07er being the Maid of Honor!! It's fun and give you girls the opportunity to see some LIW vendors 'in action', how they would 'perform' for an actual wedding (as opposed to just seeing them at a showcase).
