Maid of Honor Poem

Good Morning Everyone,

Does anyone have a copy of one of the poems asking someone to be your maid of honor. I tried searching but I couldnt seem to find it.

When I walk down the aisle
On the day I say, ' I do'
I'll put my flowers in your hands,
And I'll be proud to stand next to you.
You'll be the one who is by my side
On this very special day.
You'll hold my strength in your heart
Because you stand for me in so many ways.
You have walked with me many times before,
And I am blessed to have you here now.
I treasure the honor of having you by my side
On the day that I say my vows.
Maid of Honor is not only a symbol
But a statement of loyalty and trust.
It gives new meaning to the bond
And the devotion we have between us.

The day, the dress
The bride, the groom
The joy, the tears
Will all come so soon

Professing true love
To my husband-to-be
With family and friends
All watching me

I hope the sun will
Be shining down,
Keep your fingers crossed
That I'll fit in my gown…

But there's just one more thing
that there needs to be…
and that's to have you
Standing with me!
Will you be my bridesmaid?

So I was originally using the Will you be my Bridesmaid one for my maid of honor and just switched to say will you be my maid of honor but then read the MOH one and actually got really choked up.. and am changing it to that one for my MOH!
Im asking her THIS SUNDAY

I took a a couple lines from each poem and put them together to make a poem just right for my girls... they all liked them a lot.
Plus I made homemade Bridesmaid and grooms men shirts for everyone to wear on rehersal day! :)
