My MOH has been married 3 times and just finalized her 3rd divorce. So she is currently single and unmarried (maid) but has obviously been married (matron). So in my program do I say that she is my maid of honor or is she my matron of honor?
This makes my head hurt!

Def. maid... since she isn't married... her past should have nothing to do with it.

Did you pick BM dresses yet? I keep wondering if you dug in your heels and got white dresses....

Maid. And I would not worry about it because no one else will be thinking too much about the particular word choice. :) They'll be focusing on you and your DH!

You could always say Best Woman, but that is less traditional.

The Best Woman stands on the Groom's side. We had one.
