Maiden/Married Last Name

Is anyone keeping their maiden name(hyphenating it) or are you going to drop it. ?

I am dropping mine and taking FH's --- I like both names equally to tell ya the truth so its not really a tough decision

i am taking his last name.. but keeping mine for work purposes.

i get asked 100 times a day for my email

and its so easy [email protected]

but if i have to say c canepa and have to spell it its going to be a nightmare.

That was a tough one for me.... My dad had three girls so my last name ends w/ me... it is sad

After thinking about it though... even if I would keep my last name and hyphenate it.... it would still only stay with me and not go to my children.... so why have to sign and extra long last name.... I am lucky and my FH only has 6 letters to his last name (for those of you who know Greek people, know how long their last names can be!!)

I am taking FH last name and dropping mine. My sister got married last April and decided to keep our last name.

I think Im going to hyphenate it...I just want to keep my familys name. Theres no boys in my family and none in this country so i think it would be nice.

I have the same problem.... there are NO boys in my fam. and my family name is on the verge of being non-exsistent.... i wanted to hyphenate it but FH is not hearing it!
