Mailed out engagement barbecue invites!

Well, some of them have finally gone out! Since we split the party in to 2 shifts and our guest list was finalized for the family a while ago, I drove to the post office last night and mailed them! I am so excited!

Tonight I am going to make FI tell me who he would like to invite so I can mail the rest of them tomorrow morning. I hope people RSVP soon!

I really love the invites from vistaprint. They did a good job and I got them in 2 days. Yes, I had to pay a rush fee but I think it was well worth it.

Yay!! That's so awesome!! We're all hoping for the good weather!!!

But don't hold your breath, I'm still waiting for my FI to give me address from his family so we can send out the STDs. My family got them awhile ago.

i ordered from them on the 3rd, and we bought the 7 day shipping. We're doing july 4th weekend, so we want to get the invites out ASAP, before people get invited to other bbqs!!!

I am doing a bbq too!! hoping to do it June 25th so I don't run into July 4th trouble....anyway, I am hoping to not be around!!

hopefully we will have good weather. I am trying avoid the middle of the summer so people won't be dying of the heat!!!

I love a good BARBECUE! I am such a barbecue girl... if I was getting married in the summer, I would want a barbecue bridal shower! There's nothing like the taste of food straight from the grill! Yummy... I am so hungry now!

have you ever grilled platanos maduros....they are SOOOO good! better than fried (and healthier!)

can't wait for BBQ season to begin...weather has been so crappy!

Strangely, I didn't love platanos until I went to Miami. My grandmother makes them all the time but I never used to eat them... very unheard from a girl with a South American family!

My engagement BBQ is in two more weeks!!
