Got my STD's today and want to mail them ASAP... questions...
1 - is it okay to use labels for addresses for STD's? Invitations I know will be printed on the envelops. My vendor did print our return address on the envelopes, but I was going to use clear avery labels for guests addresses.
2- Widows: are they addressed as Mrs. or Ms.
Thanks!

Re: Mailing stuff questions
Labels - According to etiquette, you shouldn't use lables on STDs. I printed them on the computer - it was really easy. Many people do, but I think it looks a little nicer if you have the time to print them out on the computer or hand write them.
Widows are addressed as Mrs.
You can either address it to Mrs. John Smith or Mrs. Jane Smith. (It's more accepted to use the former, but you can use whichever you wish).

Re: Mailing stuff questions
One thing I don't have any of is time... as long as I'm not being completely tacky, labels will have to do, my handwriting is not great - a nice font on a clear label might look nicer. I know it's a nice touch to print directly on the envelop, but I don't want to ruin any of the envelops in case of errors.

Re: Mailing stuff questions
I used labels for my STDs. The STD is traditionally more causual so the labels should be fine.

I've seen clear labels that came out great, you couldn't even tell.

Re: Mailing stuff questions
They actually came out really nice and the font matches the font that is on the back flap of the envelop that was printed by the vendor (our return address).
