Im no where near done with my TYs but what is everyone doing in terms of mailing them out? Do you wait untill you're done with all (for me- in the next century) or just mail them as you finish them?
Im going through a big move and the TY cards will be on hold for a month or so, and i know im already late..... sigh... anywho, just wanted an idea as to whateveryone is doing... THANKS!

Re: Mailing Thank You Cards
Honestly I think considering most folks don't do it till they get back from a honeymoon I think after a month is pretty much the limit - also figure you may not get to see your picutres until then as well (if you're doing photo thank you cards).

Re: Mailing Thank You Cards
I think the etiquette for it is about 3 months after the wedding.
BTW I would think that the people who were guests at your wedding would know that you are moving and will understand if you take a little bit longer. I would just say don't take longer than 6 months.

mail them all at once.. peopel talk haha they will be peeved taht so and so got one and they didnt but u have 1 year.. yes 1 year... to do thank yous but usually after 6 months people will start dropping hints they want their thank you you have plenty of time, especially if you are writing each person a little personalized something

Re: Mailing Thank You Cards
I've gotten tys as late as 9 months after the wedding! You do what you can. I would say to send them all at once. That way no one can get offended.

Re: Mailing Thank You Cards
While I havent gotten married I have heard its better to send them out all at once so one aunt isnt all 'did you see the lovely thank yous' and another aunt is all 'ummm i never got one'. Honestly, if you get them out within 3 months, I think thats pretty okay... pushing 6 months? ehhhh
