MAILMAN PROBLEM

This past summer when I went away for a week, I had my mail held at the postoffice. When I came back my carrier informed me that he threw out my junk mail, well, I was mildly annoyed but did not say a word. Then I never received my new credit card, a package from QVC-ironically my address does not exist according to the mailman. Also, my mailman will not take outgoing mail, according to him, the mailbox accross the street is sufficient enough. Well, I called and complained about the situation, not because I wanted to but my credit card was lost , and my packages where not coming. Today my FH asked mailman for the mail and he refused to give it to us as well as tried to pick a fight with him. Me and FH are the most easygoing people in the world, we are appalled. Any suggestions? Do I just grin and bear it or make a formal complaint? HELP! It is so fustrating especially when the invitations go out, what is to say that he does not try to throw those out, etc? We used to have another mailcarrier for years and she was so nice!Ugh! I am so fustrated!

Re: MAILMAN PROBLEM

I would ABSOLUTLY make a complaint.. I think there is a 'headquarters ' type post office where you can file this complaint...He is breaking a federal law by throwing out your mail and not giving it to you....I would complain to anyone who will listen if i were you! Good luck, and luckily for you you have enough time before your invites go out for this to be fixed.

Re: MAILMAN PROBLEM

Wow! That takes nerve!
He sounds psycho and needs to find another job ASAP! Something preferably not with people. I hope you report him and they get rid of him. Just because I'm a worrier, what's to say that if they do get rid of him he knows it was you that complained and takes your mail out of your mailbox anyway to get even with you?

Hopefully that won't happen. Best of luck. Sorry if I scared you.

Kelly
