I'm thinking of having my rehearsal dinner at one of these places. I've never been to the Maine Maid Inn. Anyone been there? What do you think?
I've been to Inn on the Harbor in Cold Spring Harbor. The food is good (french) and view is very pretty, but it's about $10 more per head than the Maine Maid Inn... Anyone had experiences with Inn on the Harbor?

I had dinner at the Maine Maid Inn about a year ago and did not have a great experience. The decor was cute...countryish (cozy) however the food was not so great. I was sick before I even got home and another person who was at the dinner got sick also. This is just one experience...I am sure for all the bad there are good too...but have not been back since.

never been to maine maid inn, i have been to inn on the harbor for a work party, and birthday party, the food was good but personally i thought it was like a place reserved for people in their 40's plus. didnt find it worth the price they charged... i have heard alot of people like george washington manor... (owned by people of milleridge inn but foods suppose to be better)

I just went to the Maine Maid Inn in January and it was my first experience, I didn't care for the food at all. My MIL, FH, BIL and SIL all agreed, 2 thumbs down on the food. Cute decor.

I was at the Maine Maid Inn this weekend and i really didn't care too much for it. The food was ok but the entire place is missing something. I've never been to the Inn on the Harbor, but I would think twice about selecting the Maine Maid. There is a beutiful place down the road in Glenn Cove called the Coles House. I don't know how many people you are having, but the food is great and the place is beautiful. I was there last year for a Shower. You may want to go for lunch or dinner and check it out.
