Majestic Gardens?

My godfather just mentioned that I havent looked at MG. Do you know anything about them? So far I am torn between Miller Place Inn and Larkfield Manor. Looking at a July 09 wedding.

Is MG worth looking at? Im on a very strict budget so how are their prices?
Thanks Ladies!

I don't know much about their pricing...I do believe they are reasonable...I did go to a wedding there a couple of months ago and it was wonderful....You should definitely take a look at it.

I've heard the food is really delicious!

After I booked the east wind and told my father the first thing he said was, 'why didn't you book majestic gardens?'. I was like what the heck? lol

We looked at it first. It definitely caters to a particular taste/style (which was not ours). You'd have to go look at it and see if you like it, really.

Funny story though, we told the woman we met with that we were having a handfasting, and she asked me if that was anything to do with Santeria. Things went downhill from there.

We are booked there and it is amazing. The food is out of this world and they recently won more catering awards for creativity. They have a lot of extras to add on if you like, BUT being you are on a budget like us you cant always do that. With that being said MG was perfect for us. The grounds are just gorgeous and it is all recently renovated. To us the pricing was very reasonable!!! I know someone who recently got married I wont say where She spend over 150 pp and the food was terrible and this is a very popular place its more or less a bridal 'market' at this point.
MG is one bride at a time and they pay a lot of attention to detail.

They have an expo on 9/10 at 6:30 PM you should def check out!!

We were booked there our first time around. The grounds are goreous and the food is good. Just don't give them a deposit unless you are 100% sure because they don't refund you.

I just got back from MG. The place is beautiful and Olyimpia was so nice. The price she gave me was great but Larkfield manor gave me a lower one and I love it there too. Choices, choices!!

I don't want to upset anyone but I have to agree about it catering to a particular taste -- I went to a wedding there last year and the food was terrible. The wedding was on a major holiday and I'm not sure if their regular chefs had the day off or what but I spit my food out twice. I looked around my table and most of the plates were full by the end of dinner. I was pissed for the bride and groom (my cousin) who paid an arm and a leg to have their wedding there (a lot of guests). I don't think they went to a tasting -- from what i understand she loved the place and they booked.

We're Hispanic so it's possible that the seasonings were not enough for us so I suggest you go to a food tasting and see for yourself.

Sorry you had such a bad time. Must have been an off night. Cant see how you can win so many restigious awards for catering and not have good food.
I always suguest a tasting as well no matter where you book.
We are Italian and cant live w/ out cetian spices as well...all of which i tasted..so if your italian then go for it
Although my FH is 1/2 spanish and he loved it as well.
I think the moral of the story is you will know the right RH for you when you got. There are so many of them it can be overwhleming. Dont just pic one on the spot.

hmmmmmmmmm i went to the bridal expo there last month- and it just wasnt my taste- i agree with the 2 others posters who said its an aquired decor- not my style-
the one thing i really didi like was the secret garden where you have your ceremony-
but the rest was just not my style.
Good Luck!
