SOOOOOO excited!!!

FH and I just booked the first part of our honeymoon!
its a 20 day cruise with Holland America!
Here is our itinerary!

we still have to book the second half! we want to go to Venice and stay in Rome for a few days as well. we don't know if this will be before or after the cruise. but the hotel and airfare doesn't come out for june of next year until december, so we will have to wait.

either way, i can't wait to be there already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy canolies, 20 days. Wow thats amazing... I had a hard time convincing my FH to do past 7 days...

but AWESOME TRIP.. Im assuming yours jobs have no problems with you guys being away so long.

umm...we haven't told them yet! lol, i'll tell them next year, and even if they do, then don't pay me for the time i am gone (although i do have 3 weeks paid vacation) my HM will only come around once in a lifetime and i don't want to sit around 20 years from now and say i should have done that longer cruise instead but i didn't want my boss to be mad.

WOW thats amazing! Congrats!!! Youre gonna LOVE Spain! My mom lived there for 11 years and its gorgeous!

so excited to go to Barcelona! i hear its such a vibrant, fun city!

I'm a real estate paralegal and FH is a Acura Technician. we both have 3 weeks (21 days) paid vacation

That will be AMAZING b/c you don't have that many days at sea. I can't believe this is only 1/2 of it!

You might want to stay somewhere else (other than Rome) since you stop there three times on that itinerary. I suggest going to Florence, Venice or Cinque Terre (VERY romantic and quaint).

the reason it stops in Rome on the 10th day is because you can buy this cruise in segments. so if you on't wanted to o the first 10 days you can buy that, or if you wanted to do the seond 10 day stint, you can purchase just that.
the first day at rome isn't going to be a full day since most of your time is spent getting there and then checking into the boat so we won't be sightseeing that day. and depending on whether or not we stay in Rome before or after the cruise ends or begins that will be out first full day on land in Rome (not counting the day we stop there as a port of call).
We are definately staying in Venice, just not sure if it will be before or after the cruise.
i fell in love with Florence the more i read about it online, so we may tack that on too! thanks for the suggestions!

Yeah when FH and I went on our Princess cruise a couple told us that they will only cruise on Princess and Holland America as their service and food is amazing!!! I am pretty sure it will be an older crowd, but if you guys are like FH and I we love it!!!!!!!
