Does anyone know anyone that does gutters? We are having major issues.
It started one night when water started pouring in through one windowsill. Fast forward to now after that happened over and over.
So now, the wood floors the buckling. We just had the wood floors in the entire house completely redone and they are ruined!!!
Apparently water is coming in through the roof or the eaves, then leaking down the walls and into the floor joists. So, besides the floor buckling, the ceiling in certain rooms is leaking.
We also have no clue what damage this is doing to the inside of the walls, the floor joists, the sheet rock in the ceilings, etc.
I'm freaking out here. We were already having the roof redone this weekend, but now we need to hire someone to assess the damage that we cannot see.
Who do we call? What do we do??? This absolutely completely *****.

is your house brick? We had issues with water seeping in during really bad rain storms because we needed our bricks repointed. We haven't had a problem since ::knocks on wood::

Nope! It's shingles. But, we are hoping the issue is the roof and gutters. The old roof is being ripped off so we can make sure there is no damage to the plywood. That will be this weekend.
The issue I'm dealing with is what if there is a problem with water between the walls. What if we have mold? What if the beams are rotting? What if all the sheetrock on that side of the house is ruined?

Thanks! We just closed in the end of February and it's one thing after the other. I'm really freaking out.

Sorry to hear that. It must be so stressful. Try not to focus too much on all of the 'what ifs'. It might not be anything too serious (or expensive).

I really hope so! Things are really getting to me with the stress of the wedding and the end of the school year.
