One of my BM's was going to do my makeup, but the last few months she has been very unreliable. So last night I told her that I am going to get a professional to do it. She was a little hurt, but I think she understands. I don't want to inconvenience her on the day of the wedding. She has to worry about getting herself ready and being at my mom's at a certain time. So I told her to make sure she is there by 2:00, rather than 10-11 in the morning to do my makeup.
So.... The dilema is, now I need a makeup artist, and I only have 1 1/2 months left to go! I will be spending the night at my mothers house in east patchogue. Does anyone have any recommendations for makeup in that area? Or do you know anyone that could come to my mom's house, just to do my makeup?
I know it is soooo late to be doing this, I am worried, I am not going to find someone to do it. My mother is doing my hair, so I am thinking around 11:00, how long does the appointment usually take?

The appt usually take about an hour- I'd recommend a trial first just to make sure, and see what the artist actually says. Good luck!!

You should try Marguerite from Dakotah salon. She is very good and she does airbrush makeup which is very long lasting. She will come to your house too. The picture in my bio is my makeup trial.

OK, my sisters wedding is in one week. 2 weeks before I decided to book a make-up artist for her. I posted on Vendors Helping Brides and I got a few responses. We are going with Marie Katz and I booked her only 1 week in advance! So that should make you feel better about time.
