Major stress attack - teachers especially!

Ok, so we finally decided on our RH - Hamlet Willow Creek (yay!) and were going to put a deposit down for July 28th but when I called to make sure that date was till available at the church they told me that they were booked. HWC has another Satruday in August that is also good for the church (I think so anyway - we're meeting with the priest this afternoon) but I'm worried that it is too late in the summer (8//11) and our honeymoon will conflict with new teacher orientation. This is assuming that I get a job in a school (l will be graduating in May). Does anyone know when new teacher orientation is held generally?

Thanks - I did a google search and the few districts that came up started around Aug. 28th. I still don't think I want to take the chance. I guess we could just shorten our honeymoon if we had too. It's so hard to plan ahead of time with everything up in the air!

It's usually the last week of August.

Could you take a shorter honeymoon and plan another one for winter break next year? I almost had the same issue, and I really didn't want to do that, but there are pros to it too. It ended up working out for us...good luck to you!

i def. understand. that is why i am getting married july 29. so we have enouhg time before school starts in sept.
