Majors Steak House in East Meadow

Majors Steak House in East Meadow

Danielle and I are going to Majors Steak House saturday night with 2 other couples. We were wondering if this is a good place to eat. We wanted to know if anyone on LIW has eaten there before and if they would recommend eating there. And we also want to know how the pricing is compared to the outback.

Does anyone know a site that has a review of Majors, or if Majors has there menu online.

Thanks,
Scott

I eat there all the time. It is one of our favorite places. The food is really good. I don't think the pricing is too far off from outback. My mom lives right around the corner from majors and insists we go there every mothers day and on her birthday!! I love their broiled shrimp, and lobster tails. Man now I am hungry. Guess we'll be going there this weekend!!

It's really good! My mom lives right down the block. Not sure of the prices but the food is great...especially the pickles!

YUM!!!

We always get the burgers.
(ala carte - $3.95!!)

Oh yeah, and the creamed spinach.
(I know, who eats burgers + spinach...)

I think the prices are comparable to Outback.

ENJOY!!

PS: Majors is related to one of those 'fancy' steakhouses - I think its Bryant + Cooper.

PSS: There is also a Major's in Syosset next to Crest Hollow.

Here's a review I found:

All I can say is YUM!!!!

The ribs are soooo good!

We (work people) eat at the East Meadow one often for lunch.

I've only been to Outback once and I thought it sucked so I'm not good for comparisons on the two.

Thanks for the review of the food everyone. This really helps. Does Majors have any dress code?

What is so special about the pickles?

I liked Majors the couple of times I went there. The steak was cooked perfectly everytime. I thought it was better than Outback/Boulder Creek.

YUMMY!
The pickles are the old fashined barrel pickles. I never get dressed up to go there it is pretty casual. Just go presentable.
Hope u enjoy! :)
