Thats really cute and should be easy

Just use card stock to print the saying on then find a nice heart necklace to wrap around it.

You could use a light wire and Beed a necklace to make it really personal, you could also make it to match the dresses as jewelery

Check around in your area for shops that bost sit down workshops to make jewelry. That might be a good place to start

Hope this helps

the necklace looks to just be a tiny charm on a thin cotton string. You could probably use embroidery floss if you couldnt find anything thinner. I don't think I would bead it since the string is supposed to wear away over time and it is supposed to fall off. if you are in the city there is a shop called Toho Shoji (sp?) on 6th ave between 36th and 37th I believe that has lot of different charms at good prices. Other wise you could probably check ebay.

Just a little extra 'thank you' gift for my bridesmaids. They were $27 each! I thought that was too much for a little string, when it's not even the main gift.

I agree... I would just make the card on the computer and print it on some nice cardstock. Then I would buy embroidery floss and a charm at Michaels. I think it is a great idea!!!!

just keep in mind...the string is meant to break eventually so don't get anything that will be too strong

I think regular sewing thread would probably be good for this.
